Cheque Guarantee Cards

You will be aware that cheque guarantee cards will no longer guarantee cheques from 30th June 2011.

As some people might still wish to pay by this method at our sales we would appreciate another form of ID being presented at the till (such as photo driving licence or Passport), as well as your address being put on the back of the cheque.

NCT's finance manager has been representing the charity on sector consultations with the UK Payments Council over cheque guarantee cards and cheques themselves, which are due to be phased out in 2018.
